What are donations for ?

The costs are very high to run and manage the meditation center /camps , to maintain the freshness, donations are welcomed from meditators as gesture of their support to meditation , to donate as support click here , we have also planned to start a Meditation Retreat in Goa , in Arombol which is in North Goa , the land is just 1 Km from the beach, land is already purchased – donations are highly required for construction of this Meditation Retreat, to donate for construction of Meditation Retreat at Goa click here, you can email at donations@consciousness.org.in to know more about donations.

Are donations exempt from Tax ?

Yes, All donations made in favour of Bhagwan Nityanand Movement Foundation are exempted U/s 80 G of Income tax Act 1961. While donating towards Bhagwan Nityanand Movement Foundation you as an individual or a corporate can claim for a 50% deduction at the time of filing your income tax return. The Foundation is registered under Section 12A (a) of the Income Tax Act, 1961. As per the revised tax exemption act, effective April 1, 2017, When you make donations above ₹500 to Bhagwan Nityanand Movement Foundation your donation amount will be eligible for 50% tax exemption under Section 80G of Income Tax Act. The exemption is calculated by reducing the donated amount from your taxable salary. For example , if your taxable income per year is ₹2,00,000 and you make a donation of ₹5,000 then your net taxable income will become ₹197,500. Your tax will now be calculated on this new amount basis the prevailing tax rates.
